The Cube Corner is an unofficial event at MagicCon Amsterdam 2026. You can play cubes of all kinds with us, at no cost to you. Please join us and celebrate the best way to play Magic!

On Sunday afternoon, we also have a spot at the MagicCon Game Play Tables!

Code of conduct
Respect is at the heart of the cube community.
We welcome new and more invested players alike, and besides following the official MagicCon rules, we expect you to be mindful of your opponents.
You will be playing with someone else's cards, please handle them carefully. Follow instructions by the cube owner and organisers. We reserve the right to deny you a place in our drafts if we see a reason to.
We intend this event to be the most welcoming and fun event at MagicCon, please help us make this a reality.

What is cube?
Cube draft is a format where players draft packs from a curated collection of cards (called a cube) instead of an official set or product. Each cube is carefully designed to provide unique draft experiences, from vintage power to modern innovations.
Which cubes can I play?
Check out the Schedule page to see which cubes are available at what timeslots.
The Cubes page also contains an overview of all cubes in the schedule, and others which may be available for after-hours drafts.
How can I register?
Find an event you like at the Schedule page. Registrations will open a couple of weeks before the event.
Are there any prizes?
Yes, thanks to Spellenhuis most of our events have prize support for players with a winning record! Events with prize support are marked in the Schedule.
The exact prizes will be announced during MagicCon, but they will consist of Magic accessories.
In addition to the event prizes, a raffle will be held on Sunday. Alongside Magic booster packs and accessories, you can win the main prize: our featured cube Twee Violen itself!
Can I bring my own cube to the event?
If you would like to submit your cube to the Cube Corner and have a listed event, please get in touch with us on Discord before the start of MagicCon. We will not add new cubes to the schedule after that.
You are free to bring and play whatever you want in the free play area, but we cannot spontanteously feature new cubes in the Cube Corner.
About the organisers
Cube Corner is initiated and organised by the MTG Cube NL Discord server.
Communications around the event happen in the dedicated Cube Corner Discord server.
We also have a Bluesky account.
The event is non-profit and organised by volunteers. Any prizes are sponsored by Spellenhuis, or donated by the community.

To register for an event, you are required to submit your name and username. This data is not used for anything else than helping us run the event smoothly. We may display your first name on this website. You are free not to use your real name. If you do, we do ask you to respond to this name during the event. We will delete any and all personal data from our database and this website within 1 month after the event.
